When my wife and I upgraded to the iPad 2 we were delighted with the decreased weight and increased functionality. One of the pitfalls of the iPad one was the weight, especially when coupled with some of the cases similar to this one. The Targus cases we had before were highly protective and very sturdy but the added weight was terrible and the additional bulk caused us to carry our tablets with us less and less. Once we purchased these cases (she with the pink and I with the black case) we realized that the size difference is incredible. This case is thin, strong, attractive and keeps your investment secure. This cover is just as pretty as the picture. It is not real leather at all, more like a canvas material. I assumed that would be the case given the pattern on it. Holds ipad securely and I like how it rotates but if I have it standing up for anything but reading it falls down easily. That gets very annoying especially for my little girl so, she always has it flat now.

There are a lot of things I really like about this case. I like the weight, the design, the swivel action and the color. I could only give it 2 stars because I had to return it. The "Smart Cover" makes the iPad click on and off constantly. Even when the iPad is sitting on the counter - not being touched. This would happen even when the elastic band was holding the cover in place.
